Aeros/Moose, Part 2 in Houston

We’re underway at Toyota Center with the Aeros and Manitoba Moose squaring off for the second time this weekend. The Aeros had Saturday off (well, they practiced, but no game). The Moose made the trek to San Antonio and won 7-2.

Usually, after a high-scoring game, the team that scored a bunch of goals fires a dud if they have to play the next day. I don’t know why, and I don’t have any statistical proof to back that up. But it always seems that way to me. That said, the Moose are outshooting the Aeros 9-4 midway thru the first, so who knows.

Anywho, Matt Hackett is between the pipes for Houston while Tyler Weiman gets the nod for the Moose.

There’s a lot riding on this game for the Aeros, who will no doubt be checking out the Peoria/Milwaukee score (they start at 5 p.m.).
